Hi, I’m Mandy, customer support guru and marketing specialist for Leed Bicycle Solutions. Since I do quite a bit of writing for the Leed blog, I thought it would be good to put a face to the name.
Let’s start with the basics. Who am I? I’m the friendly voice on the phone when you call. I’m the quick response you get to your e-mail questions. But I’m also a thirty-something, married-mother of five who loves her job, loves the outdoors, and loves life! I have a lot of outdoor interests including water skiing and snow skiing, hiking/camping, soccer, cycling and trail running.
I recently completed my first 100 mile ultra-marathon, a trail race that went from Logan, Utah to Bear Lake, Idaho. It was an incredible experience, and something I hope to be able to do again soon! Winters you’ll find me sneaking away to the slopes as often as possible and you may even catch me answering our toll-free number while on the ski lift. Seriously, it happened a few times last year. Our office is located just 10 minutes from my favorite world class ski resort, Snowbasin. Sometimes it’s torture!
But it was my love of bikes that brought me to Leed Bicycle Solutions. And I can honestly say that in the last 2 years I have been here, it has become more than a job, Leed is my second family. It has been amazing collaborating with the talented owners of the company on new projects and ideas. Recently, Amberlee and I flew to Washington D.C. to film a kickstarter video for our new 500 Series E-Bike Kits. We spent a lot of time making sure everything was just right because our customers and our products are so important to us!
Another thing I have gained over the past two years is a TON of knowledge about e-bikes. Seriously, ask me anything about our products. Heck, ask me about our COMPETITORS’ products. I probably have the answer. And if you had told me 2 years ago that I would become a walking e-bike encyclopedia I would have said you were crazy. I was a soccer mom, PTA board member, church volunteer, etc. I never dreamed I would add “e-bike expert” to that list, but here we are. And I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Sure, it is sometimes difficult balancing home life and work life, but luckily the work environment at LEED is very family friendly and is a positive, upbeat place where anyone would feel welcome and lucky to be a part of the team!
So, that’s me in a nutshell! Next time you read one of my articles, or call our customer support line, say hello! I love interacting with our customers. You guys really are the best. Hearing stories from people who’s lives have been changed by one of our products really makes my day, and defines what we do here at Leed Bicycle Solutions.
